DESCRIPTION

The SB7901 is a synthetic stamping compound developed in conjunction with an automotive frame stamper.  It is recommended for use on stamping, drawing and forming, blanking, punching, and piercing operations.  It is “loaded” with extreme pressure compounds and performs equally as well as oil based formulas.

A unique benefit of the SB7901 is the ability to perform difficult operations and eliminate the need to wash parts prior to welding and those associated costs.  The SB7901 is completely stable and will not separate in the concentrate or when diluted with water. The product is also available in pre-diluted forms.

Typically, heavy duty stamping compounds contain heavy oil base stocks, but the SB7901 contains no oil and the specialized additives offer extreme ease of cleaning.  It will dry, but not set up to a hard residue, thus providing lubrication for secondary operations.  It washes off easily and will not contaminate pretreatment systems, thus, extending bath life. The SB7901 is also treated with metal deactivators to provide corrosion protection after the operation.
