The SB120-76 is a high performance corrosion inhibitor, formulated for long term rust protection on metal surfaces (50+ days Humidity
Cabinet). It can be used for indoor and outdoor protection with up to two years indoor protection provided.
Application of the SB120-76 is easy. It can be sprayed,
rolled, brushed, and dipped. It is a proven, outstanding water displacing and non-staining corrosion inhibitor which will rapidly separate water, displaced from metal surfaces after
machining operations or after alkali cleaning.
Upon evaporation, the resulting film is highly resistant to salt water, salt spray, water, and humidity. This ultra thin
film is effective in the protection of ferrous and non-ferrous metals from atmospheric corrosion even under conditions of high humidity.
Removal of the SB120-76's protective
film is easy with typical alkaline cleaners and parts washers or solvents such as mineral spirits. It does not promote skin irritation and is low odor providing high operator
acceptance.
